[00:00:04] Amen. Way to go, man. You read that? Just like I wrote it. [00:00:08] Perfect. [00:00:09] Well, good morning. [00:00:11] Great to see you guys. I tell you, I stepped out for just a second while you were singing. [00:00:18] And I came back in, Robby, and just the roar in the room. And I thought, you know, there are just sometimes, I don't know, it's just me. I just imagine the father sitting on the throne, and he just reaches over and he punches his son and said, look at that. [00:00:38] Look at that. I think about that sometimes when I pray a prayer or somebody prays kind of a big prayer that's over their head. And I just kind of feel like the Lord is saying, hey, Jesus, watch this. [00:00:52] Watch what I'm going to do. [00:00:55] I was on a plane one time several years ago, and I travel a lot, and I like to watch people. [00:01:03] And I was on the plane early, and this guy came in. He sat across for me, and he was an obvious businessman. Had on an expensive suit, shoes, Rolex watch. [00:01:16] And I just thought. I don't know why, I just thought, he's probably a powerful guy. You know, he runs something, he's in charge of something. He invented something. [00:01:26] And then I don't. I don't know what I think it was just the Lord made me think of this. I just thought, I wonder who's the most powerful guy on this plane. [00:01:36] Just so weird, you know, I have weird thoughts like that. [00:01:40] And instantly the Holy Spirit answered that question. [00:01:47] And the thought came to me, well, the most powerful person on this plane is the guy who prays. [00:01:57] He's the guy who prays. [00:01:59] Because you see, everybody else just has themself, their resources, what they can bring to the table. [00:02:06] But the guy who has learned, and there are not many of them, who has learned how to live his life in unceasing connection with God. [00:02:19] He brings God into the equation. [00:02:21] He brings all the resources of heaven into the equation. [00:02:26] Now we've got this idea about manhood. You know, we think about manhood. Immediately thought. The thought is the guy that ran down the aisle a minute ago, you know, with the fake muscles. I just. I wanted to so bad take that off and see what was really under there. But anyway, I wouldn't want to do that with me. I'm not even taking my shirt off. But anyway, but we think, you know, real manhood is a guy that can rip a phone book apart. You know, I got a buddy of mine who's fixing to go clown, climb Mount Denali, and he's just a stud, you know, And I just think of manhood, when I think about him or. Or a guy that just always works out, you know, something like that. That's not what I'm talking about here, though. [00:03:10] I'm talking about. And I think we're talking about in this conference. [00:03:15] I think we're talking about the guy who. God looks at him and said, there's my man. [00:03:25] There's my man. [00:03:27] That guy's my man. [00:03:29] He's got my heart. [00:03:31] He's got my passion. He understands my ways. He knows why I created him. And. And he understands. He just gets it. And he is aligning his life with my purposes, and he is living his life not in his own strength, but with my strength and with my power. He is a powerful man. And I promise you, that man is a man who somewhere along the way, has learned the value and the importance and the practice of really connecting with God in prayer. [00:04:12] Now, we don't think about that much. [00:04:15] And I just want to. [00:04:18] Anybody in here want to be spiritually powerful? I mean, you think your wife would like that? You think your children need that? You think your church needs a room full of men who walk in spiritual power, real manhood, godly spiritual power? Anybody want that? [00:04:41] Amen. [00:04:42] That was really weak. [00:04:45] Very manhood response. Anybody want that? [00:04:49] And I'm talking about for all the right purposes and all the right motivation. Well, I want us to see that. I want you to take your Bible and turn with me to Matthew 6. [00:04:58] Now, when the disciples were walking with Jesus, they'd ask him things every once in a while. But one of the most compelling questions I think they asked, they said, lord, they'd watched him and they saw this power in him that was just extraordinary. [00:05:18] And they had watched something else. He was always in prayer, unceasing prayer. He'd spend whole nights in prayer. He was praying as he walked along the way. Because he says later, he tells us to pray without ceasing. So obviously, he modeled that. And so they came to him, and one of the guys figured this out, and he says, lord, would you teach us to do that? [00:05:43] Teach us how to pray? [00:05:46] And so he comes here. It's recorded in all the gospels. And he. And he teaches them. Now, the most fascinating thing is that he spends about 60 words telling them what to pray, kind of six different movements of prayer. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. He spends 120 words telling them how to enter into God's presence. [00:06:13] And in other words, we don't know how to get in. [00:06:17] We don't know how to walk into the throne room of God that just baffles men. [00:06:22] How do we enter in? [00:06:25] R.A. torrey, a great man of God said this. And I read this first line and it just blew me away. He said very much of so called prayer, both public and private, is not unto God. [00:06:42] Now that arrested my attention. [00:06:44] And he said this in order that a prayer should really be unto God, there must be a definite and conscious approach to God when we pray. In very much of our prayer, there's really but little thought of God. [00:06:57] Our mind's taken up with the thought of what we need, not occupied with the thought of the mighty and loving Father of whom we're seeking it. If then we would pray aright, the first things that we should do is to see that we really get into his very presence before a word of petition is offered. We should have the definite and vivid consciousness that we are talking to God. And then he says this is only possible by the Holy Spirit's power. So we should look to the Spirit to really lead us into the presence of God and should not be hasty in words until he is actually brought us there. Now, what I'm about to tell you in a verse, I just want you to see. We're just going to look at two verses. [00:07:42] What I want you to see absolutely revolutionized my life in so many ways and particularly in this matter of the power that comes through learning how to enter into his presence and pray. [00:07:58] And he's telling us how to enter in. He says this in verse 6, Matthew 6, 6, you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who's in secret. And your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. [00:08:24] Now, Martyn Lloyd Jones, the great pastor of the last generation, said when he realized this and what this was implying, and it wasn't talking about a physical closet, it wasn't talking about a special place, it was talking about entering in, in the secret place with God. He said, when I realized what that meant and how it could be experienced, I realized I could stand in a crowd of a thousand people and enter into that closet. And it changed everything. And suddenly prayer became very personal to me. [00:08:56] Now I'm kind of a visual learner, you know, I just. I see stuff and I have a mental picture in my mind about this. And I rarely pray that I don't walk through this mental picture in my mind. So I just want to just kind of walk you into my mind, which is a little frightening, but anyway, and just maybe you can get this picture in your mind, just. I want you to imagine with me a wall, and there's a door, and it's a doorway into the foyer of heaven. [00:09:35] And we open the door and we step in, and we're standing in the foyer of the throne room of God. [00:09:44] And then he says, I want you to turn around, and I want you to shut the door. [00:09:49] And you say, well, what's that? He said, well, I want you to shut. As you're entering to pray and entering into my presence. [00:09:56] I want you to shut the door on yesterday, I want to shut the door on tomorrow. All the stuff that's coming out. You don't need to think about that. I want you to shut the door on everybody else. Here we are in a crowd of, you know, hundreds of men. You're not praying to them. You're not talking to them. So many times we come to pray and we're so conscious, man, am I gonna say the right words. I'm aware of everybody. It's all about us. And it's all about what we think people think about us. Forget about that. God says, you are coming in to have an audience with me, and I long for you to come. I've been waiting for you to come. You can't imagine, as a father who loves his son with perfect love, how much I want you in my presence. [00:10:39] And so just shut the door on all of that. [00:10:43] And then he says, turn. [00:10:47] Step into the throne room of heaven and pray to your father. [00:10:55] Rosalind Rinker said, the longer I go, the more I'm realizing that the object of prayer is to put God at the center of my attention and just forget everything else. [00:11:08] Just forget everything else. And the impression we're making on anybody. Now, this is hard for us to think about because we don't think that we have a right to be in the presence of God. [00:11:24] But let me just tell you a little verse that will blow that out of your thinking. [00:11:30] Romans is this incredible logical statement about the gospel. [00:11:39] It tells us all of us are sinful. [00:11:42] Nobody can come to God on his own. We can't get there on our own. We're all sinful. It's only by the grace of God. It's only through faith. And he just walks through this. And how we come to God is because of what Jesus did on the cross. [00:11:59] And us turning from our own merits and us trusting in Jesus Christ and what he did to make us right before God. [00:12:07] And when we come by faith, we're saved, we're cleansed, we're born again. Some of you that happened to you last night. [00:12:14] And you're just freshly, you just freshly come into the kingdom because of Christ, not because you're better on your own, just because of Christ and what he did. [00:12:24] So he comes now in Romans 5:1, and look at this verse of what he says he said in Romans 5:1. Therefore, having been justified by faith, made righteous by faith, just as if we'd never sinned because of Christ who's paid for our sin, we have peace with it literally means we have peace facing God, through whom, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we now stand. Now what he's saying is this. Here I come and I'm stepping into the throne room of God. And I just think, man, what am I doing? I can't be in here. I'm sinful. And the Lord Jesus is here. And he says, father, I died on the cross for all of his sin. He came to me in humility, cried out to me, I saved him, I've cleansed him, I've clothed him in my righteousness. Now and he comes on the basis of me and Lord, he introduces us into the throne room. And now instead of having enmity with God and being fearful and being condemned because of our sin before God, we have peace facing God. [00:13:51] Somebody say hallelujah. I mean, that's just the best deal in the world. [00:13:57] And you can come at any moment, at any time, however you've messed up. And if you know Christ, you come now. The Lord may have been grieved by our sin. He may want to talk to us about our sin. He really wants us to come when we've sinned because he's the only place of cleansing and health for us. [00:14:17] So no matter what's happened in your life. I remember Ron Dunn, who's a great pastor and preacher, years ago, he said one day he had a terrible day. He said, I just got up in the morning and he said, I missed my quiet time with the Lord. I was just all out of sorts. I yelled at my wife and just everything went wrong. You know, it was just a bad day. And he said, I came to the end of the day and I thought, I need to pray. You know, I just probably need to pray. [00:14:49] And he said, but I just couldn't pray. And he said, the Holy Spirit just kind of started speaking to my heart like the Lord does. And he said, ron, if you'd gotten up this morning and had a three hour quiet time with me and just met with me and Glorious prayer time. And then you'd gone through the day and you'd led 10 people to Christ. [00:15:08] And he said, if you came and wanted to pray after that kind of a day, would you have been able to pray? He said, yes, Lord, man, I'd been ready to go. He said, well, that's your problem. [00:15:20] You're trying to pray in your name on the basis of what you've done, how good you are. [00:15:28] Nobody comes in the presence of God on their own merits, but anybody can come on the basis of Christ. [00:15:38] So we come and this is the thing, the Lord, I want to tell you something. [00:15:44] I've got these eight kids, I mean, just saying that exhausts me and just draws down my bank account. [00:15:55] They all came home for Christmas, 40 of them, all the green for two weeks. They didn't ask me if they could come for two weeks. They just said, hey, we're gonna get to come for two weeks. I said, oh, great. [00:16:07] And you know, and it was like a herd of locusts as they come in, consuming everything in their path. And got a little root of bitterness about that. But anyway, the day after they left, I was exhausted. The second day after they left, I wanted them back. [00:16:30] I was calling them facetiming. My grandkids. [00:16:36] You know why? I just love them. [00:16:39] I love talking, sitting with a cup of coffee and talking to my boys, you know, And I love watching my grandkids grow and develop. I love every stage. The 2 year old, the 16 year old, I just love all of them. I want to be with them. Look, if I, being evil, know how to love my kids like that, how much more does a father love you? [00:17:03] And you may not realize this, he really wants to talk to you. [00:17:08] And he can help you big time, right? He's all wisdom, he's all understanding, he's everything you need for life and godliness is found in him. And he wants you in his presence, talking to him. [00:17:23] So he says, I want you to all the time pray without ceasing. This should happen all day long. I. I want you to step through the door, shut the door, turn around personally and look at me and let's talk. [00:17:40] I want you to do something with me. Just, I just want you to bow your head for a minute. Would you do that? [00:17:49] And I wonder, just for a moment, if you would just walk into the throne room with me. [00:17:59] So there's the door. [00:18:02] Would you just, in your mind's eye, just open the door and just step into the foyer of heaven, man. There's a rarefied air here. [00:18:18] It's a beautiful place. [00:18:20] And then just step into the throne room. [00:18:26] Thank the Lord because you have peace facing him, because Christ has introduced you and you stand now in grace. [00:18:39] And just for a moment, would you just look at the Father? [00:18:43] The Bible gives us all kinds of images about this for a reason. [00:18:49] John saw it, Isaiah saw it. [00:18:52] He wants us to see seated on the throne. [00:18:56] He's always been there. He's never left. [00:19:00] Kingdoms rise and fall. He oversees everything. His sovereignty rules over all. [00:19:09] And before we go a step further, would you just take a minute and just praise Him? [00:19:16] Just thank Him, Lord. Thank you. What do you see as you look at the Father right now? [00:19:24] I'm going to be quiet for a minute. [00:19:26] Just thank him for who he is and what he's done. Would you do that, Lord? You're so majestic, you're so faithful, you're so personal. [00:19:49] We are stunned that you want to communicate with us, but we're so grateful. [00:19:56] And Lord, when we look at you, we see perfect love. [00:20:02] Not an ounce of imperfection. [00:20:07] And while we're standing here in the throne room, I wonder if you would just turn your eyes to the Father's right hand to your left and look who's there. [00:20:20] Lord Jesus Christ, seated at the right hand of God. [00:20:26] Notice his scarred hands. [00:20:33] Notice his piercing eyes. [00:20:38] You might even see the Lord Jesus look at you. And then turn to His Father and say something. Because you know what the Bible says. It says that Jesus is daily interceding for you. [00:20:53] He knows your name. [00:20:56] And just for a minute, would you thank him for what he's done, Lord? Thank youk for leaving this place and coming to earth to become a one cell organism in a virgin's womb. [00:21:16] Thank youk, Lord, for living in human skin. [00:21:23] Thank youk for suffering, being willing to be confined in a human body. [00:21:30] And Lord, thank you, Jesus, for walking up the hill of Calvary, stretching out your arms and saying yes to the Father and taking all the weight of all the sin, of all the world and of me on yourself, being separated from your Father, that separation that we should bear. [00:22:00] Just thank him for a minute. [00:22:04] And there's somebody else in this throne room, by the way, because they're all together. [00:22:09] And that's the Spirit of God. [00:22:12] And we don't think about this much, but the Spirit of God is God and He has done so much for you. [00:22:25] And would you pause and just thank Him? [00:22:30] It's the Spirit of God who convicted you of your sin and need for Jesus. [00:22:37] It's the Spirit of God who showed you Jesus and Helped birth faith in your heart. [00:22:45] It's a spirit of God that regenerated you, brought you to life, and then, just like Jesus came to dwell in a virgin's womb. It's the spirit of God who has been willing to condescend, to literally come live inside of you for the rest of your life. Can you imagine? [00:23:07] Would you just thank him? He's the one that teaches us, brings to remembrance all things. [00:23:14] Would you just thank him for who he is? [00:23:20] So, blessed Father, what a privilege to just stand in your presence right now, to just enter in and, Lord, immediately we just think, oh, Lord, forgive us for not coming here more often, Lord, for just missing the greatest, the greatest single opportunity we have in life. And that is to be with you and to talk to you and to hear from you. [00:23:55] And I pray for these men, Lord, in all the venues upstairs in this room, Lord, I pray this would become a common place for them. [00:24:11] And, Lord, a whole new generation of men would learn how to enter in all the time into your presence and be with you and hear from you in Jesus name. [00:24:27] Now, would you just look this way for just a minute? [00:24:32] God intends for you to live there, and he intends that so much that one of the commands he gives is pray every once in a while. Is that what it says? [00:24:49] Pray without ceasing? Without ceasing, with no interruption. [00:24:55] And you say, how in the world can that happen? We'll see that in just a second. [00:25:00] So once we get into the presence of God, that's important to learn if I want to be aligned with the power of God and useful, really powerfully useful as a full man of God for his purposes. But secondly, what do I say when I get in there? You know, some of us are real verbose. You know, it's just not hard for us to say stuff. We say stuff all the time. We don't put our minds in gear a lot, but we, you know, a lot of stuff comes out. Some of us are very timid and shy. It's hard for you to put words, this is for everybody. [00:25:36] Doesn't matter what your vocabulary is. [00:25:40] Doesn't matter if you've been 50 years walking with God or you just got saved last night. [00:25:46] The Lord tells us and he gives us, this is why he did it. When they said, teach us to pray. He comes beginning in verse 9 and 10 there. And he says, well, let me just give you kind of six movements. We're not gonna go through all of them, but six little movements of prayer. First is adoration. Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. I mean, how could you really get in the presence of God and be consciously aware of him and not start right there, right, just rehearsing who God is and being awed by what you see. But then the next thing he says to pray is what I call a prayer of alignment. [00:26:23] He says this. [00:26:26] Thy kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. [00:26:36] Say that with me. Your kingdom, your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it's done in heaven. In other words, what happens here? We have our will, we have all the things we want to do. You know, I got to fix the curse. I got to do this. I want to be known. I want to have a reputation. I want to have pleasure. I want to have comfort. And what God says, I want you to come into my presence. And in my presence, you're going to see the glory of what this is all about. And that's going to rectify your mind. That's going to give you perspective you've never had. And it's going to align you. And all of a sudden, you're going to see what's going on in heaven. And. And you're gonna want that for your house. [00:27:20] You're gonna want that for your city. [00:27:23] You're gonna want that for your church. And there's a way to get that. It's called prayer. It's called intercession. This is the way this works. [00:27:33] This is what I've been doing, Jesus. I've been modeling this to you, and I'm gonna teach you how to do this. So I want you to pray. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Now, let me give you another couple of verses that help you understand this. [00:27:49] I'll throw them up on the screen. Colossians, chapter four or chapter three, beginning in verse one. Now, look at this carefully. [00:27:59] He says, therefore, if you've been raised up with Christ, in other words, if you're a Christian, anybody in here been raised up with Christ, if you've been raised up with Christ. I used to be a guy that was dead in my trespasses and sin. And I was joined to Christ, and he raised me up. And I'll never be that old man again. I'll never be a man without Christ again. I'm a new man in Christ. That happened to some of you last night, gonna happen to some of you today, perhaps. If you've been raised with Christ, then here's what I want you to do. [00:28:29] Keep seeking the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. [00:28:39] Set your mind on the things above. Now, that doesn't mean have an occasional thought about this. [00:28:46] It means a continual vertical gaze. It means the focus of your life. I want you to set your mind not just on the junk, all the junk here. You're aware of the junk here. But I want you to see something that nobody else can see. [00:29:04] I want you to set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth. You know why? Because you've died. [00:29:14] Just a man that can't do that. You've died and your life is now hidden with Christ. And God you are joined to Christ, where he is. You are. You have the capacity to enter into heaven. Now, listen, you remember the old film the Matrix? [00:29:31] I didn't see it when it came out, but then, you know, they've made like 40 of these. It's kind of like an old Rocky movie that just won't go away. They just keep making more. No matter how bad Sylvester Stallone looks, he just makes more. So Matrix. Now, if you've never seen it, the premise of those movies is really fascinating. [00:29:52] And the premise is there's an earthly, physical world, okay? And the people who live in that physical world, they could only relate to the physical. They have no other orientation. [00:30:04] So they're just living their life thinking that's all there is. But what they don't know is there's another parallel world, and it's a spiritual world. And in that spiritual world, there are forces of good and forces of evil. [00:30:19] Starting to sound a little familiar. [00:30:23] And these forces are in constant battle with each other. And the guys in this world have the capacity to live and influence both worlds. They can come down to the physical world. They can live in the spiritual world. And this whole thing is going on. It's an unbelievable depiction of reality. [00:30:47] Now, the truth of the matter is, before you became a Christian, you only had an orientation to one world. [00:30:54] Your physical what you could see, feel, taste, touch and hear, right? That was it had no relationship. You were dead in your trespasses and sin. You weren't alive to that. But then God saved you. [00:31:07] And your life was hidden with Christ and God. And you're connected to him. And you can enter into heaven and you can pray. And this is very clear that we now live in two worlds, right? [00:31:21] And we have the capacity to influence this world from this world. And I know that's true. Why else would God ask us to pray? Why else would he tell us 600 times in the scripture tell us to pray and to pray without ceasing. This is a big deal with God. This is the source of how things happen with God. [00:31:43] And so he says, I want you as you get into heaven, and. And the word of God and the Spirit of God is going to help you in this. And I want you to see what's going on. And then I want heaven to come down and my will to be done on earth as it's being done in heaven. [00:32:02] Let me just give you. Just broaden this a little more. [00:32:05] So I have. One of my greatest mentors was a man named Manley Beasley, who was just a great, great man of God. Very unusual man of God. [00:32:13] And he was always saying things that just kind of messed me up. And one day we were at supper and he leaned over and he said something that changed the whole trajectory of my life. [00:32:28] He said, bill, the mark of a godly man is that everything he does is God initiated. [00:32:37] Let me say it one more time. The mark of a godly man, a real man, is that everything he does is God initiated. Now, that just blew me away. [00:32:51] And I just happened to be reading in the book of John in my normal reading, and I was reading the New American Standard Translation six times from John 5 to John 16. [00:33:05] Jesus uses that word. [00:33:08] And he says this. I don't do anything on my own initiative. [00:33:11] Now, you remember Jesus was God, but he laid aside his God powers, became a man. [00:33:18] And not only did he come a man to be a perfect sacrifice, but he also became a man to show us what God was like. He also came a man to show us what a man could be like who's rightly related to God. [00:33:31] And Jesus said this. Things like this. He said, I don't do anything on my own initiative. What I see my father doing, that's what I do. How do you see that? [00:33:42] What I hear my father saying, that's what I say. [00:33:47] How did he hear that? [00:33:50] Now, what Jesus was saying is, look, this is the way this works, is I live my life in perfect union with my Father. And I'm listening to him and I'm talking to him and. And I'm spending time with him, and I listen to him and he says, I want this to happen. Okay, Lord, I'll cooperate with you in total obedience, and you're gonna get all the glory. Everything he did was God initiated. [00:34:17] Now, this same man, Manley, had the last 20 years of his life, had three terminal illnesses. He was very sick. He was always dying. He just. One of his buddies Said, you're the hardest guy to say goodbye to. He'd just get right to the edge of death. And then he just kind of rised up. And so one time he was very sick. He was in a hospital room and he was lying there by himself. And suddenly he sensed the room was just filled with the presence of God. And he thought, what in the Lord? [00:34:49] Am I going home? I mean, what's the deal? And he looked over and there was this woman standing in the doorway. And she said in this thick accent, are you Manly Beasley? [00:35:00] And he said, yes. She said, well, I'm Corrie 10. Boom. [00:35:04] Now, many of you don't know who that name is, but she was one of the greatest Christians of the last generation. Went to Nazi concentration camp. Billy Graham did a movie of her life. The Hiding Place. Unbelievable Woman of God. [00:35:18] Manly said, Corrie walked over to his bed and he said, we entered into a 45 minute conversation with God that was unlike anything I'd ever experienced in my life. Said Corrie would talk to the Lord and then she'd talk to me. And then she talked to the Lord. She just then said, yes, Lord, I'll tell him that. And then she'd talk to me. She'd talk to the Lord and she'd talk to me. He said, pretty soon I got so caught up, I started talking to the Lord and talking to Corrie. And she said, we just had this unbelievable, natural, incredibly real three way conversation. [00:35:58] You say, what in the world? [00:36:00] What in the world is that? [00:36:03] That's a woman who's learned how to live in both worlds, right? And it's seamless. [00:36:13] There's some ancient Christians that used to say there are places where the air is thick, thin between heaven and earth. And Corrie had found that thin place, right? [00:36:27] I want to live there. [00:36:30] And you can live there. [00:36:34] And God wants you constantly to be a forest. Listen, I want to ask you a question. Do you think any of heaven needs to be brought into your home? [00:36:45] You think your workplace needs the presence of God? [00:36:51] Guess who God's put there, right, in that workplace to bring heaven down into your workplace? [00:36:58] Not somebody else, it's you. [00:37:00] You say, well, man, I'm just a waterboy. I'm just. No, you're the most powerful man in the room. [00:37:07] If you know how to enter into the presence of God, lay hold of the things of God, pray in line with the will of God and the mind of God, we can pray God's will to be done and heaven to come on earth as it's being Done in heaven. [00:37:30] I know this may sound strange to you, but God has a group of people on this earth that are unlike anybody else. And it's the hope of the world. [00:37:43] You know what it is? It's called the church. [00:37:47] And in that church, he has men like you. [00:37:53] And he has ordained you and called you to be his powerful force on this earth to bring his kingdom in. And you can do it by the grace of God. [00:38:08] I want you to feel this as the team is coming. I want you to stand with me for just a minute as we close. Everybody just stand in the venues, everywhere you are. [00:38:18] And I want you to turn to another guy. [00:38:22] Just turn to another guy. [00:38:24] Would you do that? Make sure you know their name. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Time out. You don't have to get their whole history. I don't. [00:38:42] Just a name is enough, you know? I'm Bill. I'm Fred. [00:38:47] Okay, now just turn to them and just look at each other for a minute. [00:38:52] I want to tell you something. [00:38:57] The power of God is available to any man. [00:39:03] Regardless of your physique, regardless of your past sins, regardless of your education, regardless of your inability to speak, regardless of the length of years as a believer, regardless even of your biblical knowledge. [00:39:24] God wants to flow through you like rivers of living water and work through you in power. And he says things which eye has not seen ear has not heard and have never even entered into the heart of man. That's what I've prepared for those who love me. [00:39:43] And I want you to turn to your buddy right there. Just look right at him. [00:39:48] And I want you to take your hand and place it on his shoulder. [00:39:55] And one after the other, I want you to do this. [00:39:59] I want the first guy to speak and then the next guy say to your friend, you can be, by the grace of God, the most powerful man in the room. Would you tell him that right now? [00:40:22] And now leave your hands on his shoulders. [00:40:27] Leave your hands on his shoulders. [00:40:30] And then you may have not ever done this before, but would you just pray a simple prayer over your brother? [00:40:41] Oh, God. [00:40:44] Would you help this man learn how to enter in? [00:40:47] Would you help him learn how to pray? Heaven down. [00:40:50] Would you make him a powerful force in your kingdom? [00:40:56] Would you pray for that? One after another, for your brother? Let's pray.
